WHO CAN PLAY?
All Amateur Players are welcome to play - Men, College, High School, Senior Golfers and
Women are invited to play in the PAG Tour.  Women Players will be kept in their correct flights according to their PAG Tour Handicap from the 6000 - 6200 yardage. If a Women player can shoot AA or A Flight scores from the 6000 - 6200 then they will play in that flight where their handicap falls. If it is B Flight thats where she will play.

NEW PLAYER RULE
When a New Player Signs Up To Play,  That player will be given three tournaments with the best 2 rounds being used to verify that the player started in the correct flight.  Example: Player shoots 85, 90 and then 83 and started in C Flilght. This player must move to the B Flight for shooting 2 B Flight scores out of 3. If they shoot 2 B Flight scores in their first 2 events the player must move to B Flight for third event.  We will then monitor their best 5 scores from then on out to keep them in the correct flight. Same with all flights.
WE DO NOT ALLOW SANDBAGGING OR PADDING OF HANDICAPS.

SANDBAGGING IS: When a player plays with a incorrect handicap and plays in a lower flight than they should be in.
PADDING IS: Tours that count all the players scores and use players high rounds to determine scoring average. This allows players having a bad day to add shots to their round to keep theirselves in a Flight they should not be in. Example: Player has 5 rounds at 85, 83, 86, 84 and 86. This is a 84.8 scoring average or a PAG Tour B Flight Player. In other Tours that count all rounds. A player can pad their handicap whenever they are having a bad day and just give up and shoot 98, and if they do this 3 times added to their 5 low scores this gives them a 89.75 scoring average, and will keep a player in C flight when they should be a B Flight player. All players have a bad round once in a while, but they should not be able to stay in a lower flight when they can win the  B Flight.

7 FLIGHTS TO PLAY IN!
2 Tournaments in 1
Amateur Flights
A Flight plays from Approx. 6500 yards
B, C, and D Flights play from Approx. 6000 - 6200 yards.

Senior Flights play from Approx. 5900 - 6000 yards.
We adjust the courses yardages to these ranges to keep an accurate handicap from
week to week so we can keep players in the correct flight at all times. We
will make adjustments to the scorecard whenever needed to maintain these yardages.

PAG Tour Flights (2012 schedule below)
A Flight:  5.0 - 9.9 or 77-81 Shots
A Flight players will play from 6500 Yards give or take a few. Any A Flight players with a handicap lower than 5.0 must give however
many shots they are under a 5.0 handicap. This is to keep from having just a couple of players in a Champ Flight and take away from the purse.  (See Below)
B Flight: 10.0 - 16.9 Handicap or 82-88 Shots
C Flight: 17.0 - 23.9 Handicap or 89-95 Shots
D Flight: 24.0 - 30.9 Handicap or 96-102 Shots
Any D Flight players with a higher handicap than 102 will be allowed to subtract shots.
Example: When Player has a 106 handicap with our handicap system they will receive 4 shots off their score.

PAG Tour Senior Flights
A Flight: 0.0 - 10.9 Handicap or 72-82 Shots
B Flight: 11.0 - 21.9 Handicap or 83-93 Shots
C Flight: 22.0 & Up Handicap or 94 & Up Shots
* Seniors will play 6000 yards. You will establish your handicap playing with us.
We will use your best 5 rounds to establish your handicap. This is the Flight you must compete in.
A FLIGHT PLAYERS
A PLAYER WHO WANTS TO PLAY, BUT HAS A BETTER HANDICAP THAN 5.0,  MUST GIVE SHOTS TO THE A FLIGHT.  EXAMPLE: PLAYER HAS A 2.0 HANDICAP OR 74 SHOTS, THEY MUST START WITH 3 SHOTS. IF THEY HAVE A 4.0 THEY MUST START WITH 1 SHOT AND SO ON.  BECAUSE THE LOWEST ALLOWED A FLIGHT HANDICAP IS 5.0 HANDICAP OR 77 SHOTS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION!
B FLIGHT MOVING TO A FLIGHT
If a B player reaches a handicap of (7 or 79 shots) from 6,000 to 6,200 yardage, they must move to the A Flight Tee Box. The player will play in the B Flight. If the player can maintain an A Flight Handicap from the A Flight Tee Box in their next 5 tournaments they must move to the A Flight.  If
A Flight Players drop to a  B Flight Handicap from the 6500 yardage they can play the B Flight from the 6500 yardage.  Thanks for your cooperation.

SHOT MAX?
NO PICK UP! YOU MUST PLAY EVERY SHOT UNTIL BALL IS IN THE HOLE!

PAG TOUR HANDICAP SYSTEM
HANDICAP SYSTEM KEEPS IT FAIR FOR ALL PLAYERS TO PLAY AGAINST PLAYERS WITH THEIR SAME ABILITIES SO ALL HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN THEIR FLIGHT.
IF IT NEVER SEEMS LIKE YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN IN THE TOURNAMENTS YOU CURRENTLY PLAY IN, THEN YOU NEED TO GIVE THIS TOUR A TRY. WE KEEP IT FAIR FOR ALL PLAYERS TO WIN IN THEIR FLIGHT. WE HAVE THE FAIREST HANDICAP SYSTEM, TO MAKE SURE EACH PLAYER HAS A CHANCE TO WIN THEIR FLIGHT AGAINST PLAYERS WITH THE SAME ABILITY.   WE USE ONLY THE SCORES YOU SHOOT ON THE PAG TOUR TO CREATE YOUR PAG TOUR HANDICAP, TO KEEP PLAYERS IN THEIR CORRECT FLIGHT. THIS PROTECTS AGAINST SANDBAGGING OR PADDING OF HANDICAPS. IN 2011 WE WILL EVALUATE NEW PLAYERS WITH THEIR FIRST 2 TO 3 TOURNAMENTS TO SEE IF THEY STARTED IN THE CORRECT FLIGHT. IF A PLAYER STARTS IN THE D FLIGHT BUT SHOOTS THEIR FIRST 2 ROUNDS IN THE C FLIGHT, THEY MUST MOVE TO C FLIGHT THE NEXT TOURNAMENT. IF THEY SHOOT 2 "C" SCORES AND 1 D IN 3 THEY MUST ALSO MOVE TO THE "C" FLIGHT.  THEN WE  WILL KEEP THE PLAYERS  IN THE CORRECT FLIGHT BY USING THE 5 SCORES THAT WARRANT THEM BEING IN THE CORRECT FLIGHT.
PAG TOUR HANDICAP EXAMPLE: Once a Player has shot 5 rounds in a flight he must play in that flight or be moved to that flight.  Example:  C Flight Player shoots rounds of 84, 85, 87, 82, 86 over a course of 8 or even more rounds, then these are his best 5 rounds and  these best 5 rounds are B Flight scores, so that player is a B Flight Player and must play in the B Flight.   Same with all other flights. This is how we keep players in their correct flight.  Players that are moved to a new flight will recieve the points they would have gotten if playing in the new flight the whole time. Although, If that player would have won his new flight he can only get 90 points, to protect the players who won and were playing in the correct flight. So it benifits the player to make sure they start in the correct flight so they don't have to move up and possible lose a win. To  be allowed to move back in Flight. Example: to move from B to C flight a player must shoot 10 rounds that are 12 shots above the B flights highest handicap allowed (88). So the a B player must shoot 100, 10 times in a row before he can move to the C Flight. Only the scores you achieve  in our tournaments counts. Works the same for all flights. C player would have to shoot 107, 10 times in a row. All players have bad days and we feel if you can shoot scores in a flight 5 or more times that warrant you being in that flight, then you just had a bad day. So this is why we make it this hard to move back in flight.

TOURS THAT AVERAGE ALL OF THE PLAYERS SCORES TO PROVIDE THE PLAYERS HANDICAP CAN BE PADDED WHEN A PLAYER IS PLAYING BAD AND TURNS IN A 95 WHEN THEY HAVE SHOT BETWEEN 78 - 83 IN 5 OTHER ROUNDS OR MORE.  TOURS THAT USE HANDICAP ADJUSTMENTS AFTER PLAYING AND HAVE ONLY 2 FLIGHTS HAVE TO  BIG OF A SPREAD,  GIVING AN ADVANTAGE TO THE HIGH HANDICAP GOLFERS. WE HAVE 5 FLIGHTS AND YOU WILL ONLY COMPETE AGAINST PLAYERS WITH YOUR SAME ABILITY PLAYING IN YOUR FLIGHT.  WE HAVE DIFFERENT WINNERS ABOUT EVERY TOURNAMENT.

CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS SYSTEM:
Players will earn points at each tournament by how they place in their flight. Each flight will have its own championship race. If you tie, you will receive the same amount as the players you tied. Except first place.  Example: A player shoots an 85 and so do you - you finish tied for third at 75 points, so you both receive 75 points. If there is a tie for first place, the win will be decided by the #1 handicap hole on the course. Then, on #2, if still tied, and #3, and so on. Then the player who wins the tie receives the 100 points, with the others receiving second place points by themselves.
Edit Text

The Points will be awarded as follows, plus a 5 point show up bonus for each tournament you play. This will never be dropped off your points total when we throw away your worst rounds. In 2011 we will count each players best 8  rounds  to determine the flight champions. This allows players to miss a few rounds and still have a chance to win championship points race. Below is how points are awarded.

1st - 100     4th - 80      7th - 65       10th - 50     13th - 35      16th - 20
2nd - 90      5th - 75      8th - 60       11th - 45     14th - 30      17th - 15
3rd - 85       6th - 70      9th - 55       12th - 40     15th - 25      18th & Below - 10

Lost Ball & Putting Provisional Ball In Play
If a player thinks he has lost a ball, he must hit a provisional ball right away. This will keep the pace of play going. Because slow play is one of the most frustrating parts of a golf tournament. Not hitting a provisional ball creates slow play.
IF A PLAYER IN YOUR GROUP MAY HAVE HIT A BALL IN WOODS OR A HAZARD. THEY MUST HIT A PROVISIONAL BALL. BEFORE THE PLAYER HITS THE PROVISIONAL BALL HE MUST SHOW PLAYING PARTNERS THE BALL MARKINGS. IF PLAYER DOES NOT SHOW THE BALL AND HITS HE WILL GET A 2 SHOT PENALTY. IF PLAYER HAS TO HIT A 3RD, 4TH ETC. THEY MUST SHOW THE BALL BEFORE HITTING OR RECIEVE A 2 SHOT PENALTY. THE 3RD AND 4TH SHOULD HAVE DIFFERENT MARKINGS THAN THE FIRST 2 BALLS HIT.  NO PLAYER IS ALLOWED TO GO TO THAT AREA WITHOUT THEIR SCOREKEEPER WHICH IS IN THE OTHER CART!! SO BOTH CARTS MUST RIDE DOWN THE FAIRWAY TOGETHER!!

When a player goes to look for his lost ball, he must take his scorekeeper with him to verify that they found the correct ball which was properly checked at the start of the event. The ball in question must be verified BY SCOREKEEPER BEFORE the player hits this ball. This will prevent anyone from dropping a ball with no one looking and claiming it as the lost ball. Our aim is to provide honest weekly golf tournaments, with thanks to your cooperation. If a player goes to the area where the lost ball entered by themselves then the group will impose a 1 stroke penalty.  Furthermore, if a player has to hit a provisional ball, he must finish that hole with that marked ball. Then the player after finishing that hole can mark another ball at the next tee, with his group as witnesses, and put it into play if he prefers it over the provisional ball. Remember, prevent slow play... always hit a provisional if you think you've lost your first ball, and only look for your ball for 5 minutes. Very important, if a player in your group has hit a ball near or possibly in the woods Both Carts must ride together to the area in question. NO PLAYER IS ALLOWED TO GO TO THAT AREA WITHOUT THEIR SCOREKEEPER WHICH IS IN THE OTHER CART!! SO BOTH CARTS MUST RIDE DOWN THE FAIRWAY TOGETHER AND ARRIVE TO AREA TOGETHER!!

Tee Times & Player Placements

Tee Times will be posted on the web site on Friday before each tournament. You can check the web site's TEE TIMES page for your tee time or call. We ask that you please sign in 30 minutes prior to your starting time on Saturday. WE CAN ONLY ALLOW 2 FRIENDS OR 2 FAMILY MEMBERS TO PLAY TOGETHER IN A THREESOME OR FOURSOME. If you would like to play with a friend, or family member, then you must tell us before the foursome drawing (Thurs. before each round) so we can pair you up together the foursome. We have to do this in order to keep the scoring as fair as possible.

Tournament Scoring
No player is allowed to keep their own official scorecard. Each player will be responsible for keeping another players score in each group. When each group gets finished with Hole #18, players must check their scores with the player who kept their score and then attest and sign their scorecards before you go to your car. Then you must give the cards to Scoring Official before leaving Hole #18.   NO EXCEPTIONS!! You will be disqualified if you leave 18 without giving the Scoring Official your card. Please pull up to the scoring offical to clear 18 and not interfere with play.

Please write down all scores for prior hole  BEFORE teeing off on the next hole.

You should not have to ask the player what they had. It is the scorers responsiblity to keep track of how many shots their player made on each hole. If you need to ask at the end of a hole, you should go over shot for shot with the player before you write the score down. Then you can proceed to the  tee off on next hole.
Pace of Play
Play "Ready Golf." Each foursome must strive to keep up with the group in front of them. If a player loses a ball, he has only five (5) minutes to find that ball. If the player thinks he has lost his ball after you have hit you must hit a provisional ball to keep from going back to hit another ball. This saves lots of time. Then the player and his score keeper should go look for the lost ball together. NO PLAYER IS ALLOWED TO LOOK FOR THEIR BALL ALONE!! NO EXCEPTIONS! When the ball is found the scorer must verify that it is the ball the player showed at the First Tee. The other 2 players in the group should go ahead and hit their balls, then they can go start looking for the lost ball for the remaining 5 minutes. If after the 5 minutes the ball is not found then the player must use their provisional ball. Each foursome is responsible to finish within 15 minutes behind the group in front of them - 15 minutes usually means you are playing two strokes behind or a hole behind. If a group falls behind more than 15 minutes, they could be penalized for slow play - a 2-stroke penalty for each player in the group. It should not take any foursome over 4 1/2 to 5 hours to complete a round of golf. Play "Ready Golf" if you lose sight of the group in front of you, you should increase your speed until you get back on their heels. We will try to have a Marshall at each event to inform groups if they are behind and need to pick up the pace. Be ready on the green to make your putt also speeds play. Have your line picked out, as soon as you arrive to the green start looking your putt over.  Thanks For Your Cooperation!

Balls & Clubs
Each player must mark two (2) golfballs at the start of every tournament, the ball you intend to start with and a provisional ball. Your two golfballs must have different markings or numbers. You must show the players in your group both of these marked balls and show which one you will tee off with before you tee off. If you lose or think you have lost the first ball that you started with, you need to hit your second ball as a provisional immediatly so that you don't have to go back and hit from that spot, after not finding the first ball. If you have to go to woods or water to look for your ball you must take your scorekeeper to look for your ball. The other 2 players can play their ball, then come help in the search until the 5 minutes is up. This saves valuable time. If a player rushes to the spot where their ball was hit without scorekeeper they will be given a 1 stroke penalty.
Each player is also responsible for counting his or her clubs, players must have only 14 clubs at the start. Any player who gets caught with more than 14 clubs will recieve a 2-stroke penalty for each hole they start with over 14 clubs.

Shot Maximum
Play Each Hole Out Until Ball Goes In Hole. No Max. Limit!!
Event Day Weather
If it is raining before a tournament, we may postpone until Sunday or another day. If play has already started, then play will only be stopped if there is lightning seen in the area. The golf course will sound a horn to halt play. You must be prepared to play in the light or coming and going rain. Have with you a rain jacket, umbrella, etc., or anything you deem necessary to continue playing. If the rain becomes too intense to continue play were the course gets to wet, the horn will also be sounded to halt play. Take cover or return to club house and wait for the horn to sound again to resume play.
If lightning is sighted, or the horn sounds for lightning, return to the clubhouse immediately. If the tournament cannot be continued, it can be scored official if all players have completed nine-holes. We will always try to play tee times, if the weather is forcasted to be an issue, so all of the players will get to play the same nine holes. The tournament will be scored as complete if all players get to play the front nine before the tournament is stopped due to weather. Therefore, if the tournament is scheduled to be a Shotgun Start, it could be changed to Tee Times due to the weather forecast. With the likelyhood of inclement weather, check our web site to see if Tee Times are posted as a change from a scheduled Shotgun. Thank you.

On Course Rulings

If there is ever any doubt about what a player should do, and no one in the group can fully answer the question, then the player must play two balls and finish the hole playing and scoring both balls. Then all of the players in that group must come to the scoring table and talk with the rules committee to decide which ball should be used before signing the score card.
Dress Code & Respect
All courses require that you wear a collared shirt and no denim. Shorts are allowed (not denim). Please use proper golf etiquette while competeing and at all times you are on the course. Please be aware of the players around you, and show your respect while they are shooting by being still and quite.
