WEEKEND GOLFERS! IT'S ABOUT THE COMPETITION! SEE SCHEDULE BELOW!
IF YOU PLAY ON THE WEEKENDS,
WHY NOT COME GIVE US A TRY. IT DON'T COST MUCH MORE TO COME COMPETE THAN A ROUND ON THE WEEKEND. COMPETITION IS THE MOST FUN
YOU WILL EVER HAVE PLAYING GOLF! COMPETITION WILL ALSO IMPROVE YOUR GAME THROUGH COMPETING. WHAT WE HEAR THE MOST WHEN WE ASK SOMEONE TO PLAY IS " I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY ON A TOUR.
THAT'S NOT TRUE WE HAVE A FLIGHT FOR ALL PLAYERS!" ONLY COMPETE AGAINST PLAYERS WITH YOUR SAME ABILITIES!! COMPETE TO BE THE CHAMPION
OF YOUR FLIGHT. WE KEEP IT FAIR! SEE PAG TOUR HANDICAP SYSTEM BELOW. 18 HOLE STROKE PLAY TOURNAMENTS. USGA AND PAG TOUR

AMATEUR PLAYERS WELCOME! BRING YOUR DAD OR BRING YOUR SON. PLAY TOGETHER! 5 FLIGHTS WE HAVE
A FLIGHT FOR YOU! PAG Tour Amateur Flights (2012 schedule below)
A Flight: 5.0 - 10.0 or 77-82 Shots "A" Flight players will play from 6500 Yards give or take a few. Any A Flight players with
a handicap lower than 5.0 or 77 shots must give however many shots they are under a 5.0 handicap using the PAG TOUR Handicap
System. This is to keep from having just a couple of players in a Champ Flight and take away from the purse. (See Below)
B Flight: 10.0 - 15.9 Handicap or 82-87 Shots C Flight: 16.0 - 22.9 Handicap or 88-94 Shots D Flight: 23.0 - 29.9 Handicap or 95-101 Shots E Flight: 30.0
& Up Handicap or 102 & Up Shots The B, C, D &
E Flights, will play 6100 give or take a few. Seniors & Women will play this yardage also,
Then
players handicap will be determined from these yardages with the PAG Tour Handicap System. No Sandbagging or Padding Handicap Allowed On
PAG Tour! Once a player reaches a handicap that is 3 shots lower than the flight they are playing, they must move to that
flight. We have had problem with moving players who really couldn't compete in the next flight because they are at the tail
of the flight. So we have a new formula to deal with this problem. See Below! See for yourself and
play on your tour for one full season. This is your tour we just organize it so we all have a fair Tour to play in. You will
have a great time competing and meeting new golfing friends!
AMATEUR "A" FLIGHT PLAYERS ANY PLAYER WHO HAS
A BETTER HANDICAP THAN 5.0, MUST GIVE SHOTS TO THE A FLIGHT. EXAMPLE: PLAYER HAS A 2.0 HANDICAP OR 74 SHOTS, THEY MUST ADD
3 SHOTS TO THEIR FINAL SCORE, ETC.. BECAUSE THE LOWEST ALLOWED A FLIGHT HANDICAP IS 5.0 HANDICAP OR 77 SHOTS. THANK YOU FOR
YOUR COOPERATION WE FEEL THIS IS FAIR FOR ALL!
HOW "B" FLIGHT PLAYER GETS BUMPED TO "A" FLIGHT WITH THE YARDAGE DIFFERENCE. If a "B" player reaches a handicap of (7 or 79 shots) from 6,000 to 6,200
yardage, they must move to the A Flight Tee Box. The player will play in the B Flight from the 6500 Tee Box. If the player
can maintain an A Flight Handicap from the A Flight Tee Box in their next 3 out of 5 tournaments they must move to the A Flight.
If "A" Flight Players drop to a B Flight Handicap from the 6500 yardage they can play the B Flight from the
6500 yardage. To do this they must shoot in the B Flight 8 times in a row to be eligable to play in the B flight from the
A Flight Tee Box (6500 yards). In order for a B Player playing from the 6500 Tee to go back to the 6100 Tee box they must
shoot 8 times in a row, C Flight scores from 6500. PAG
TOUR HANDICAP SYSTEM
THIS HANDICAP SYSTEM
KEEPS IT FAIR FOR ALL PLAYERS TO PLAY AGAINST PLAYERS WITH THEIR SAME ABILITIES SO ALL HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN THEIR FLIGHT.
IF IT NEVER SEEMS LIKE YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN IN THE TOURNAMENTS YOU CURRENTLY PLAY IN, THEN YOU NEED TO GIVE THIS TOUR A TRY. WE KEEP IT
FAIR FOR ALL PLAYERS TO WIN IN THEIR FLIGHT. WE HAVE THE FAIREST HANDICAP SYSTEM, TO MAKE SURE EACH PLAYER HAS A CHANCE TO
WIN THEIR FLIGHT AGAINST PLAYERS WITH THE SAME ABILITY. WE
USE ONLY THE SCORES YOU SHOOT ON THE PAG TOUR TO CREATE YOUR PAG TOUR HANDICAP, TO KEEP PLAYERS IN THEIR CORRECT FLIGHT. THIS
PROTECTS AGAINST SANDBAGGING OR PADDING OF HANDICAPS. WE
WILL EVALUATE NEW PLAYERS TO SEE IF THEY STARTED IN THE CORRECT FLIGHT. PAG TOUR HANDICAP EXAMPLE: WHEN ANY PLAYER ACHIEVES A HANDICAP 3 SHOTS LOWER THAN THE
FLIGHT HE IS PLAYING IN, THEY MUST MOVE TO THAT FLIGHT. Example: C Flight Player shoots rounds of 84, 85,
84, 82, 86 = 84.2 handicap. He has achieved a 3 or more shots under or a 85 handicap or better, they must move. Same with
all other flights. This is how we keep players in their correct flight. Players that are moved to a new flight will recieve
the points they would have gotten if playing in the new flight the whole time. Although, If that player would have won his
new flight he can only get 90 points, to protect the players who won and were playing in the correct flight. So it benifits
the player to make sure they start in the correct flight so they don't have to move up and possible lose a win. Director can
answer an questions you have about this. MOVING BACK IN FLIGHT To be allowed to move back in Flight. We keep each players last 20 rounds, played with us,
when they play 21 we drop the oldest round on the list Etc.. If a player is a B Flight player with 5 B scores. Then the player
starts struggling and can not shoot B scores any longer. Once player has dropped all the B Flight scores he will be eligable
to move back to C Flight. New or First time players NEW PLAYER RULE When a New Player Signs Up To Play, If the new player says he is a C Flight player
and shoots 3 shots under the lowest C handicap of 88 they must move to B Flight for next tournament. Example: Player shoots
85 and started in C Flight. This player must move to the B Flight for next tournament. Same with all flights if player shoots
3 under flights lowest allowed. Then we will determine if that is the correct flight over time as they play and establish
their PAG Handicap. WE DO NOT ALLOW SANDBAGGING OR PADDING OF HANDICAPS.
SANDBAGGING IS: When a player plays with a incorrect handicap and plays in a lower
flight than they should be in. PADDING IS: Tours that count all the players scores
and use players high rounds to determine scoring average. This allows players having a bad day to add shots to their round
to keep theirselves in a Flight they should not be in. Example: Player has 5 rounds at 85, 83, 86, 84 and 86. This is a 84.8
scoring average or a PAG Tour B Flight Player. In other Tours that count all rounds. A player can pad their handicap whenever
they are having a bad day and just give up and shoot 98, and if they do this 3 times added to their 5 low scores this gives
them a 89.75 scoring average, and will keep a player in C flight when they should be a B Flight player. All players have a
bad round once in a while, but they should not be able to stay in a lower flight when they can win the B Flight.

*Best 11 out of 16 Tournaments will count towards Flight Championships. You do not have to play all 16 tournaments
to still have a chance to win your flights championship. By scoring well in 11 could win the Championship. When
you get 11 rounds in then you can play more and improve your worst rounds. But if you have all good finishes when you played
you could still win with 11 rounds. We realize that its hard to play every tournament.
Thanks for your Support for making this Golf Tour in the Upstate a Success.
